Part Number: TPS56221 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS53353 , , TPS543B20 , TPS53355 Hello, My customer would like to design Vin=12V, Vout=5V and Iout(max)=16A buck convertor at Ta=85oC. They are considering either TPS56221 or TPS53353, take a look…
Part Number: TPS56221 Hello Team,
Is there a test data of output current vs. Tj/Tc? There's a similar figure in datasheet but it's measured by Ta.
Thank you!
Part Number: TPS56221 Dear team,
Customer find that when use TPS56221, they pull down EN to GND first, then float, the IC did not work. Vin is on all the time, and also add a ss capacitor 33nF beside EN.
Thanks.
Best regards,
Sammi

Hi, Sorry for my bad English. I have some problems with TPS56221:
1) ILIM doesn't work, if i connect resistor 2.8 kOhm to pin 18; Vout -0V;
2) when TPS56221 is working, it very hot (near 80 degrees). I now, that consumption…
Part Number: TPS56221 Hi,
Can you help advise on two strange operations? I don't think it's a stability issue. Do you think it would appear in bench as well? How do I improve it?

(2) VOUT voltage…
