Part Number: TPS56720
Hi TI,
Please review the schematic of TPS56720.
Design parameters are:
Voltage: 1.5v
Nominal Current : 400mA - 500mA
Output Ripple: less than 15mVp-p
We are observing a large ripple voltage on output for the above mentioned…
Part Number: TPS56720 Hi TI,
We have designed power supply to be used with Clock Multiplier Unit(CMU) inside the PCIe PHY for a custom SoC.
Our noise requirement is 15mVpp max in the frequency range 100Mhz - 500MHz.
Please review the schematic and…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS56720 Hi,
I have a question about I2C on TPS56720.
When I2C function is not used, SCL and SDA should be "pull-down", and A0 and A1 should be "open". Is it correct?
Best Regards,

Can I set boot voltage 0.85V using external resistor without programming in the power ON time and then I could change output voltage using I2C?
Actually, i am using three ICs in my design first TPS65400 second TPS56720 & third will be TPS53647 and I…
Hello Andrew,
In the Webench design you included in your inquiry, I see four main supplies and two LDOs.
These are:
TPS62143
TPS54427 which feeds LP5907
TPS62130 which feeds LP38841
TPS56720.
No LM5036 shown in any of these designs. Would…
