Part Number: TPS61029-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61236P Hi,
Is there Web bench design available for this convertor? Also can you please suggest any automotive alternate part is available for this part which is having web bench design available…
Part Number: TPS61029 There are two phases to our project. Stage 1 - Solar battery charger: A 2 volt solar panel is used as the input to the TPS61029 chip, and the output voltage is adjusted to 1.6 volts to charge a Ni-MH single cell in this mode. The…
Hi Gianluca:
So sorry that we don't have TPS61029 version. But in other words, it's not a good idea to simulate the worst case. The tolerance of the current limit is little wide. As 1.5A minimum and 2.1A maximum.
May I know what's your Vin, Vout range…
Part Number: TPS61029 Hi teams
When the TPS 61029 is disabled, it generates about 60 ° C. Is it possible to generate such heat when disabled?
The power supply configuration is as follows.
The input voltage is 1.2 [V] (nickel metal hydride battery…
Part Number: TPS61029 Hello experts,
Is EVM of TPS61029 available?
I can't find on TI.com.
I would appreciate if you would give me reply.
Thanks and best regards,

Hi Yaita:
After confirmed with team, there is no same graph of TPS61029.
You could calculate the value by current limit and the Vin, Vout and estimated efficiency.
Part Number: TPS61029 Hi Support,
Pin 1 - EN – directly connected with Vin 1.8V ~ 2.4V, without 10K pull up resistor.
Pin 8 –PS – disable Power saving mode, Pull up 10K with Vin : 1.8V ~ 2.4V.
Result :
VIN :2V, ILOAD: No Load VOUT : 4.47V
VIN…
Part Number: TPS61029-Q1 Hi Team,
There is a good new that we could DIN TI product!
Customer is looking for the replacement of NCV5171 (P2P would be better )
Please help suggest TI solution, THX
Part Number: TPS61029 Hello,
My customer is confused with the equation (5) in the datasheet.
He design is Vbat=3.8V and Vout=5.0V.
In this case, which numerator of the equation is correct, Vbat x (Vout + Vbat) or Vbat x (Vout - Vbat)?
Best…
