Hi Darren,
Darren (FAE) said: The max-30V is the maximum Vds of the FET, while the -0.3V comes from the intrinsic diode of this FET; and going beyond this range causes shoot-through currents (current flows from GND to SW node) that could damage the FET…
Part Number: TPS61040 I am trying to decide whether to periodically disable the TPS61040 to conserve battery life. The load on the switcher will be disconnected when not needed no matter what, so the comparison I'm trying to make is whether the switcher…

Part Number: TPS61040-Q1 Hello,
1) What is the accuracy of the boost converter?
2) What is the PSRR?
3) What is the rise time of the output voltage when the power supply turns ON.
Kindly share soon as possible.
Thanks & Regards,

Hi Shawn,
For TPS61040, the assembly is a little special, shown below.
So the red areas in SAM picture from TOP is delamination located between the die pad and mold compound . And delamination in this area has no risk and will be ignored .

Part Number: TPS61040 I have a small PCB designed and assembled to evaluate the TPS61040 for a client. The input is from a Lithium Titanate battery (2.4V) and the output is set to 3.3 Volts to power the MCU.
Please ignore the input/output voltages on…
Part Number: TPS61040 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5001 dear support team:
my circuit board need a 28v power rail, and there only one 24v power source.
since TPS61040 Vin range from 1.8v to 6v.so i add a 20v zener diode between the 24V and…
Part Number: TPS61040-Q1 Hi ,
Can I place the feedback circuit behind the capacitor C2, as indicated by the red line below,What are the risks if i do this, how do you suggest to place it reasonably? Tks
