    Part Number: TPS61073 Dear Sirs, What maximum voltage is allowed for pin EN? 1.8 it is nominal. In datasheet i found writteln minimal - 1.2V But I didnt found maximal voltage I have logic 2v - it is normaly for TPS61073?

    Part Number: TPS61073 I am using the TPS61073 to generate a 5V out from a 3.0V input. The SW voltage waveform is overshoot and exceed the absolute maximum rating. Is this a problem? If there is a problem, are there any countermeasures? thanks…

    1. please share TPS61073 layout image, the damage could be cause by the layout 2. don't touch the 2M resistor. the IC may damage if you touch the FB pin, as the device doesn't have output over voltage protection function

    Indeed, but in that particular case, the TPS61073 output will just follows the input voltage. I forgot to say that it is not a problem if the output is slightly higher than 5V.
