Part Number: TPS61081 Hi Team,
In the system example as stated in section 10.3.3 of the TPS61081 datasheet what will happen if the PWM signal is always On or always Off? What will be the state of the output power to the backlight during those conditions…
Hi User,
Thank you for using the TPS61081. It seems your inductor vibrates remarkably to cause the audible noise. Can you increase your dimming PWM frequency to above 20kHz so the vibration is out side the hearing frequency range? Or check with the…
Part Number: TPS61081 Hi, everyone: The board I designed refers to the Buck topology of JW1130, when I use a PWM wave to control the EN / DIM pin. Everything works, but the inductor screams.
Part Number: TPS61081
the figure 1 is from PDF-SLVA289, a zero and a polar are included when a feedforward capacitor C1 is added across R1.For AC small signal mode,FB is shorted,R2 is not included in the loop, why the polar in the PDF-SLVA289 has R2…
Hi Wayne,
Thanks for the post. Yes, the loop response of TPS61081 is slow. its fc is around 5k or even less. So it can not achieve 10kHz output voltage change. I think nearly all the boost converter can't.
Like what customer do, it can output 24V…
Part Number: TPS61081 Hi,
We got a question from the customer about TPS61081. Could you help us?
[Question] They are considering using TPS61081 for constant current output. They checked the schematics of TMDSSK3358. It uses Rss=44.2k, Rfb=10 and describe…
Part Number: TPS61081 Hi, everyone:
I design my board reference to GPEVM of AM437x, which chose TPS61081 as its LCD backlight solution. Everything is OK, except inductor scream.
We have already confirm that it is the 4.7uH inductor work with TPS61081…
Part Number: TPS61081 Hi expert,
My customer found out TPS61081 Vout go high to 8V in no load condition and we can fix it by placing 10kohm for dummy load. Application is 3.3V~4.2V -> 5V. We would like to know if TPS61081 could be used in 5Vout application…
Part Number: TPS61081 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61170 , TPS61022 Hi,
We got a question from the customer about TPS61081. Could you help us?
[Question] They are considering using TPS61081 under the following condition.
Vin=3.0V to 4.3V…
Part Number: TPS61081 Please let me know, how this IC can be used as LED backlight driver?
I am not finding any equation in the datasheet to limit the output current. How will be the resistor value from FB to ground determined?
