Part Number: TPS61160
This circuit is used to drive a 4-LED Series LCD backlight, but there will be a burst of flicker and a burst of normal. Measure the PWM waveform, and it is found that the duty cycle will change when flashing. The welding problem…
Part Number: TPS61160 Hi team,
would you please suggest if TPS61160 would be able to drive a 1.85' panel backlight which only have 1 LED at lion battery supply, as low as 3.3V input voltage? thanks.

Does TPS6116X has similar parameter of dimming width for RD design?
I see in datasheet, there is no min dimming duty cycle and min dimming time parameter. the blank is only one…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61160 I have a question about TPS61160.
Does TPS61160 operate normally when the dimming frequency is 256Hz?
And please tell me the minimum dimming frequency of TPS61160 when I want to operate TPS61160 normally…
Part Number: TPS61160 Dear Specialists,
My customer is considering TPS61160A and would like to confirm the performance.
Is it possible to use TPS61160EVM for conrfirming TPS61160A.
There isn't TPS61160A EVM.
I think the difference between TPS61160…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61160 Hi,
Our customer confirmed the operation like pulse skipping at low PWM duty as inserted. Does TPS61160 have pulse skip mode?
Best Regards,

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61160 Hello,
My name is Hidetoshi Matsunami.
I would like to ask you the following questions.
Could you tell me the formula for TPS61160 slow-start?
I need to calculate the time of Slow-Start for a design…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61160 Hi there! I'm trying to use TPS61160 PWM dimming. I apply 15 kHz PWM signal to CTRL pin but IC sets the brightness to maximum. How can I solve the promlem?
If you want I can add schematics
I agree with you, IMHO it is not clear from the datasheet wether the pulldown is internal or not.
I think that the pulldown is needed, for example, to avoid false operation during processor reset or sleep modes, or in any state where the pin connected…
