Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61195 , LP8555 We're using a TPS61195 in Linear Output mode, with PWM input control (SEL1 grounded, SEL2 floating, "Analog Mode, PWM Interface").
After the board powers up, the software starts its PWM timer…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61195 Hello,
Does the TPS61195 allow the current to be set to different levels in each channel? If not, do you know of a ti.com controller that does? LED current is 30mA to 100mA.
We like the use of a boost controller…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61195 Hi,
I am trying to design a backlight driver for 10 LEDs in series at 60mA per string. The datasheet for TPS61195 indicates the IFB channels on this device can be paralleled to achieve higher output current per…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61195 Hi, After spending some time with the TPS61195EVM we have the following questions/issues/observations:
1) Question: Can the TPS61195 work with SMBUS ONLY ? If yes, what is expected on the DPWM pin ? (High, Low…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61195 Hi All
I currently have a dev board with 6 TPS61195 devices controlled via SMBUS.
Works great all six are powering 96 leds each.
All tracks really well.
Unfortunately there is a huge colour temp shift, across…
Part Number: TPS61194 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61195 , TPS61185 , TPS92638-Q1 Hello team,
I would like to confirm we have fit device for the customer requirements.
The requirement is that 24Vin(30Vabs) / 30mA per ch / 8 string / Fault pin.

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61185 , TPS61195 Hi,
My customer has questions about TPS61185. Could you tell me about questoin?
[Question] My customer considers to use isolation switch. They have question about Figure 19 in datasheet.
- Why do we need…
I suggest TPS61195. You can tie 2 of its IFB pins together to get 60mA for configuration 1 and you can tie all of its strings together to get the 200mA configuration.
Gordon,
How many LEDs do you have in parallel and how much current do you want to drive through each of them? We have a wide variety of multi-channel LED drivers, but most are boost converter based: TPS61195 as an example: http://focus.ti.com/lit/ds…
