Part Number: TPS61200EVM-179 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61200 Hello-
Can anybody explain the purpose of resistor R1 on the EVM module ? This resistor is only shown on the Rev E datasheet as part of the reverse battery protection circuit.
Reason…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61201 We have purchased a TPS61200EVM-179 evaluation board.
We measured the circuit's quiescent current at 2,7V input to be more than 100uA and it gets worse if we lower the value of Vin. It goes up to 250uA at 1,3 Vi…
Look for the evaluation module under "Tools & software" on the TPS61200 product folder. Here's the direct link to the EVM, TPS61200EVM-179 Evaluation Module .
Glad you got it working. Can you post what was wrong and how you solved it so that all may learn?
Please read the datasheet and user's guide which are located here: http://focus.ti.com/docs/toolsw/folders/print/tps61200evm-179.html They may have…
If you have truly disconnected the TPS61200 circuit from everything else, then R7 is not connected on one end and does not effect the circuit's operation. Confirm that R7 and R6/C7 are not connected to the circuit you are testing.
In the first picture…
Well, I wanted to follow up on your suggestion and started by creating my own PCB. I have attempted at least 6 times to design a board that mimics the layout of the evaluation kit. I cannot get any results from the voltage out. I have tested all my connections…
