    1. when you said the eval board consumes 3A, do you mean the input current of the eval board is 3A? 2. not sure about the charging current for the special phone, if the charging current is very high, 2.5A for example, the TPS61230 could be very hot.…

TPS61232 is the fixed output voltage version of TPS61230, you can apply the TPS61230EVM for evaluation, the performance is the same. www.ti.com/.../TPS61230EVM-089

Hi Bruce, TPS61230 has a larger current limit but I'm not sure if it is fit for your application. It's better to know the specific load condition. BR Gene

Mike, We do not have a PSpice or TINA-TI model for the TPS61090. Could you use the TPS61230? It has higher output current but is similar and can be exported for TINA-TI from WEBENCH®. You could create your custom design and then export it for further…

yes. could you measure the inductor current during the abnormal period? i guess the load startup to operate at 4V and absorb high current. while in low battery, the load doesn't work. my email: jasper-li@ti.com by the way, why do you select TPS61027…

the TPS61030 has two package, and the pin out of the packages are difference. it seem the pin out of your PCB is wrong. no sure why you select the TPS61030. what is the input voltage, output voltage and output current. To power the GPRS module, maybe…

hi Meir what is input voltage when transmits at full power? it seem the current limit is triggered. this device can't support 1.4A from 2.4V input. i would suggest TPS61230 for this application. thanks Jasper Li

Kayiita the 1800mA is the inductor peak current limit, not the output current. it seem the project's application condition is VIN=3.3V~4.0V, VOUT=5V.IOUT=1A. i would suggest TPS61230 for this application. what is the end-product and what the boost…

Dear Jasper, Thanks a lot for answering. Since the TPS6128x ICs are DSBGA, we can't use them right now. But, we will certainly look at TPS61230.

    1. What is the voltage of VBUS at this state? remove the inductor L2 and discharge the COUT with 100Kohm resistor, if the 3.2V output does not disappear. it proves that the current flow from other device. 2. you use LBI and LBO to achieve UVLO from…
