    TPS61085 has minimum Ton limit, so the Vin must lower than the Vo. Suggest you use TPS61230.

    Thanks a lot. As also inidcated in the datasheet of TPS61230, capacitor C2x3=22uF. can i use one single 100uF capacitor instead of using 3 x 22uF capacitor.

    i would suggest 47uF effective capacitor. but it is OK if there is no ringing in the load transient waveform. you can use TPS61230 for your application.

    the TPS61236P can't support VIN very closed to VOUT. you need TPS61230A if VIN<VOUT and TPS61230 if VIN could be higher than VOUT
