Part Number: TPS61232 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61022 Hello iam using TPS61232DRCR in one of my projects.
In the datasheet it shows "3.3-V to 5-V Power Conversion with 2.1-A Output Current". Also datasheet shows "TPS6123x High Efficiency Synchronous…
Part Number: TPS61232 Good Day,
I am looking for some advice to get a smoother output on my TPS61232. Fixed 5V version. Power source is lipo with 100uF ceramic buffer.
The graphic below show my output noise, schematic, and layout.
The inductor of…
Part Number: TPS61232 Hello Sir,
I am using TPS61232 boost converter in my new design. I need 5v boosted output from li ion battery and a load sharing circuit.
Please check my schematics and kindly comment on it.
Part Number: TPS61232 In order to “Supply up to 1.5A continuous current”, what is the current-delivery requirements of the Lipo battery? I can’t seem to find that documented anywhere.
I’m referring to the C value of the Lipo…continuous and burst delivery…
Hi Marco
The TPS61232 only has VIN pin, so I'm not sure what does "VINA" refer to.
For this soft start issue, I think it is good idea to add RC circuit to delay the startup of the TPS61232. Another method I'm thinking is setting higher startup voltage…
1. the schematic look strange, could you help make it clear.
2. please share the layout image of the TPS61232
3. measure the VIN, VOUT, SW waveform when you see the problem
Part Number: TPS61232 I am using the TPS61232 in a typical application for 2.3 V to 5.5 V input, 5 V Output Converter as per section 9.2.1 and figure 12 of the Datasheet, and it works great with my loads of about 1 Amp.
In testing for short circuit…
Hi Avinash,
1. May I know the load current of your target device? When you removed the downstream devices, is there a resistance load is connected to TPS61232, If possible, please capture the startup waveforms(Vin, Vo, SW) scope shot.
2. Can you share…
Satoshi-san Sorry, but i'm not agree with you. We can see from the waveform that the TPS61232 has stop switching when the VIN is lower than the setting voltage. This is why we see the VOUT decreases. And the voltage in SW pin is equal to VIN after the…
