Part Number: TPS61256 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61253A , TPS61022 , TPS61023 1The TPS61256 is used as a 5-V power supply with up to 600-mA output current, but when loading is about 100mA , The TPS61256'S output is always about 2.7v by scope …
Part Number: TPS61256 Hi Ti Support,
I would like to use your TPS6125x family of chips due for its size and cost, however it appears I need to have a resistive load for startup (table 7.3). My application will startup into a near no-load state and I…
Part Number: TPS61256 Hello,
In the TPS61256 pin assignment, Vout (A1, A2) and Vin (A3) are adjacent to each other.
If these (Vout and VIN) are short-circuited due to mounting failure, how does the IC work? 5V output should not be output clearly, but will…
Part Number: TPS61256 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS54218 , Hi,
I'm considering to delay the PWRGD signal from TPS54218 for about 1ms by employing an RC circuit.
Then the delayed PWRGD is connected to EN pin of TPS61256 to delay its start-up time…
Part Number: TPS61256 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61253A Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools Hello,
My customer was considering using the TPS61256 component.
He also used WEBENCH for the design. (Attached the Webecnh Report). He tried to simulate…
Part Number: TPS61256A Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61256 , Hi Team,
just want to check if TPS61256 will be broken when there is 5.3V power supply on Vout. Thanks

Part Number: TPS61256 Dear TI Experts,
My customer designed TPS61256 in their product and went to MP stage. During the SMT , they found some TPS61256's SW is shorted to Vout, since this will bypass the Valley Current Sense circuit, and TPS61256 can…
Part Number: TPS61256 Hello,
Is there any problem(Damage or anything) to IC in case IC is put in the conditions like that(VIN>VOUT(5v)) in actual application?
Best regards,
Hidekazu Someno
Part Number: TPS61256 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61253A Hi,
in datasheet 9.1, it says
The TPS6125x device operates differently as it can smoothly transition in and out of zero duty cycle operation. Therefore the output can be kept as close as possible…
Hi,
My customer faced an issue:
Application is Vbat boost 5V
Battery protection pack would lock the output when VBAT<2.8V.
But it would be unlocked, and repeat on/off.
Do you have experience of VBAT with protection pack?
Thanks
Waveform and schematic…
