Part Number: TPS61500 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61169 , , TPS92360 We have a 3V (700mA) LED, which needs to be modulated from 100Hz to 2MHz with a 50% duty cycle (square wave). I wannted to enquir if the above driver (TPS61500) will work. Also would…
Part Number: TPS61500 Tool/software: Hello team,
On the datasheet, it is stated that Max duty cycle is 93% (TYP).
What is deciding this max duty cycle?
Is it decided by the max duty cycle of the low side FET?
Best Regards, Kei Kuwahara
Hi Conor,
TPS61500 can handle the LCD 1~3 separately, you can adjust R3 in datasheet typical application schematic for different LED current.

Part Number: TPS61500 Hi,
We are using TPS61500 IC for my 7 inch LCD Backlight . Below is the panel details. We have provided the 5V as input to the IC. We are facing the issue of LCD flickering some times. What could be the reason for backlight flickering…
Part Number: TPS61500 Hi,
From the datasheet of TPS61500 (SLVS893F –DECEMBER 2008–REVISED MAY 2019), it states in the beginning that
3-A, 40-V Internal Power Switch – Four 3-W LEDs From 5-V Input – Eight 3-W LEDs From 12-V Input …
Part Number: TPS61500 I am using the TPS61500 eval board to drive 7 LEDs in series. I have replaced various components on the eval board as shown in the schematic below:
I'm not using the eval board LEDs and am connecting my own 7 LED string via the OUT…
Part Number: TPS61500 Hi,
We use the TPS61500 for the LED drive, now the LED p eriodic light off when we set the max. load, the max. load is 333mA, 30V, the max. load is 333mA, 30V
the total time interval is 2S and the light off time is about 50ms, the total…
Part Number: TPS61500 Hello,
I've just build this circuit, everything works as expected, but I've noted that there's some residual voltage on LED output even when the EN pin is low (TPS61500 should go to shutdown mode, as far as I understand...)…
Part Number: TPS61500 For the output current of the TPS61500: 1, design circuit, design current of 333mA,
2, specification book output current
3, the actual test: Screen LED current requirements 360mA max., quad, 6 LEDs each, The current per circuit is…
