hi Tim
I suppose temporal resolution represents the minimum duty cycle of PWM on EN pin. Actually, there is no typical value as it has no PWM detector.
For analog dimming, I think you already know there is a RC filter inside, this will determine the…
Part Number: TPS61500 Hi Robin,
Good day !
I finally managed to get the display backlight circuitry working with TPS 61500. Below are waveform captured at the Vout , inductor and Iled current ( 360mA ) .
Appreciate your guidance whether is there abnormality…
Part Number: TPS61500 Hi,
I was hoping to get some help a few months back with OVP on the TPS61500. This issue is still unresolved and the thread has now been closed. Could someone help? The original enquiry was:

I'm finding the OVP voltage is incorrect…
Hi Carlo,
Yes, TPS61500 supports 3A@min current limit. But it must be pointed out that 3A is just the inductor peak current instead of average current. So for actual application, the average output current is lower than 3A.

Robin
Part Number: TPS61500 Dear team,
Do we have any figure or data show the Switching freq vs Efficiency?
Our customer want to follow it to set up Switching freq.
Many Thanks,
Jimmy
Part Number: TPS61500 Hi team,
I’m looking Figure 11 Pure PWM Dimming Method.
It looks like the PWM signal is applied both to the MOSFETs that control the current driving the LEDs as well as the Enable pin of the TPS61500.
Why drive the EN pin with…
Part Number: TPS61500 Hi Team,
Can you please check and advise with following request?
"
The LED will be driven by 12V. We guess it will draw around 2A current. In this case, the LED power is 24W. Is this a problem for the TPS61500?
How to calculate…
Part Number: TPS61500
Hello,
My customer has a question for TPS61500.
They want to use TPS61500 in different 2 cases, 100 ohm sensor resistor(R3) with 2mA case and 1 ohm with 200m case. And they want to use PWM dimming with 1%~100%.
They tested both…
Part Number: TPS61500 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS92360 Hi,
I want to use TPS61500 IC for my 7 inch LCD Backlight . Is it recommended for below display current rating. Please suggest the required inductor values and schematic for this model or…
