Part Number: TPS62051 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS62060 Is there a SPICE model yet for TPS62051 (or TPS6205x) family of parts? If not, is there a similar part with a SPICE model that I can try to use for simlation?
Part Number: TPS62051 When powered on with 7.4V designed to step down to 3.3V (R1 = 560K, R2 = 100K), the part doesn't begin switching and the output follows the input linearly with Vin = 7.4V and Vout = 4.3V. The part may be broken but I wanted to check…
Hi John,
The problem that the TPS62051 power chip cannot output normally has been solved: pull the LBI pin high; LBI pin, for fixed output can be directly grounded, such as TPS62052, TPS62054, TPS62056; LBI pin, for the adjustable output needs to be pulled…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS62051 Hi I have designed a circuit with a TPS62051 but in some PCBs it breaks down. I think that the problem is the ESD, but maybe there is an error in the layout, so I have attached a picture of the PCB layout. I had…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS62051 , DAC5674 The datasheet lists the quiescent current of the TPS62051 as 5uA, and does not specify whether this is low power or low noise (forced PWM) mode. I have a feeling it is for the low power mode, but I would…
Hi Yuto,
The internal power MOSFET is same between TPS62050 and TPS62051. But it is different between TPS62050 and TPS62061. Please refer to the datasheet for detail.
Thanks,
Nancy
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS62051 , TPS62050 , TPS62240 Dear all,
for a new design we need to use the TPS62051 Buck controller, due to some simulation issue I need the macromodel (subcircuit) of this device, is possible to have it?
Could you please…
Thanks. Just one more question about LBO. on the figure 5 (PAGE 9) of the TPS6205x datasheet. I want to use a TPS62051 and disable the device under 3.5 V,. I don't need hysteresis or check LBO with a microcontroller. Can I connect LBO to ground and…
Before I used TPS62051 (also with enhanced LBI) and there were no problems. The current scheme does not differ from the previous. I use enhanced LBI to switch off scheme.
