Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS63030 , TPS63050
Hello,
I have a question about your TPS63030 power supplies.
We have currently designed a small, two-layer "breakout" style board for the TPS63030 to test on a breadboard with other boards…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS63030EVM-417 When we check it the TPS63030EVM-417 as is (the power-saving mode disabled) we can see that:
At No Load – Switching frequency = 800khz.
Up to 0.13A – Switching frequency unstable .
More than 0.13A…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS63031 , TPS63030 Hi~
Out customer will use TPS63030/TPS63031.
When Enable pin is low, what is output level? Our customer want 0V.
If see datasheet, it is stated as following :
" the output voltage can drop below…
The TPS63030 load transients are visible in figures 16 and 17 of the datasheet. The voltage peaks around 60mV for the two load conditions then returns to regulation.
Are you using the EVM or your own board? If you are using your own design, please…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS63030 Is there a specified resistance between the Vin and Vina pins on the TPS63030? I've got an application where the input may have a specific frequency associated with it and it would be preferable to design a low…
It sound like you have made a bad connection in your PCB and/or schematic; maybe the output is connected to ground.
Perform a continuity check and compare your schematic and PCB to that of the TPS63030 EVM: http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/slvu275/slvu275…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS63030 In the board, the TPS63030 powerpad is not connected to the gnd. The ic is getting heated up and consuming the current also. But what is the required output for which it is designed we are getting it. Can i know…
Do you have anything else connected to the output? How much current are you drawing from the TPS63030? You can pull the PS/SYNC pin to VIN to disable the power save mode. Power save mode has the greatest efficiency increase in the 1-10mA range, if you…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS63030 Hello,
I've design a power supply board to supply a RF module with the TPS63030 but I've a problem. When power save is disable I've no problem but when it is enable I can't detect my RF module unless the output…
