Udaya,
The software uses very specific API drivers for the GPIO interface that TI uses. The Aardvark is not compatible with these drives, so the software will not communicate with the Aardvark.
A lower current power adaptor can be used, but will…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DM3730 , TPS65072 We are seeing some weird behaviour. Our configuration is:
DM3730 GPIOs is controller the PB_IN and PWRON.
DM3730 I2C is used to control the PMIC.
When we have a battery below 3.0V, DM3730 won't power up…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65072 Hi all,
I am currently attempting to use the AD_IN1-4 pins as a AD converter to detect if a voltage from a seperate device is present. It seems that when I use the AD converter, by setting the TSCMODE register…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65072 , TPS65070 I have recently used a TPS65072 for making 3.3V, 2.5V and 1.2V FPGA voltages. Configuration is:
EN_DCDC1=EN_DCDC2=EN_DCDC3=1
POWER_ON=1
PB_IN=(I test 0 and leave open and the result was same)
DCDC1=3…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65072 Hi:
I am trying to disable/enable the DCDC1/2/3 and LDO1/2 individually. But I realize that when I disable the LDO2, the DCDC1 and DCDC2 are also disabled.
After I played with CON_CTRL register, I found out that…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65072 , DM3730 I2C is open drain signal. Some of the input signals on TPS65072 could handle 1.8V signals (Power OK is VIH is 1.2V). But PB_IN required higher than 1.8V which is not 1.8V compatible.
For I2C, can I connect…
No we did not resolve the fundamental issue.
But we are able to work around it by adjust the power so that battery is connected before DC.
There is side effect of this method is that the battery is fast charge regardless the battery status.
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65072 I am using TPS65072. One of my test boards failed. It was working fine for a few months and then failed.
The part of the TPS65072 is working, I can turn it on and off through PB_IN and POWERON (DCDC1/2/3, LDO are…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65072 6835.TPS65072.pdf I have 3 boards failed to power up.
I disconnected the output.
Vbat = 3.9V
Vsys is 3.8V
AVDD6=3.8V
Power_ON is 3.8V
I toggled PB_IN, PGOOD is toggled with PB_IN ( PB_IN = 0, PGOOD =0, if PB_IN…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65072 , TPS65070EVM-430 I have the same Problem like this old post: http://e2e.ti.com/support/power_management/pmu/f/200/p/139079/519274.aspx#519274
If I switch on the backlight driver all goes well, but if I switch off…
