Unfortunately TI decided to lock my ongoing issue ( https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management-group/power-management/f/power-management-forum/1490233/tps65279-strange-behaviour-on-pgood-pins/ ). To help others…
Part Number: TPS65279
Tool/software:
We have used the TPS65279 successfully for several years (using thousands of TPS65279). But recently we made a minor change in the layout and now we have problems with 70 % of the boards. I have not found the exact…
Part Number: TPS65279 Tool/software: Hi Ti:
If TPS65279 can use different PVIN1 and PVIN2 to get one output power in shareModeOperation ?That‘s it,PVIN1=5.2V,PVIN2=5V,Vout=4V,Iout=4A,Iout1=Iout2=2A. just like this:
The reason I'm doing this is…
Part Number: TPS65279 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM76005 , LM5143 Hello Experts, My customer is looking for higher input voltage(>35V) device than TPS65279. Do you have such devices? [requirement] - Vin >=35V - Iout=5A - dual outputs - clock synchronization…
Part Number: TPS65279 Hi team,
Could you explain below questions about the reference design and EVM?
1. At the user's guide SLVU960.pdf, how do customer decide the value of capacitors at ILIM1/2 pin?
2. At the reference design PMP4379 TIDRD.pdf…
Part Number: TPS65279 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: , TPS65270 We are trying to design in TPS65279. One question I have is for RILIM2 selection. Could you confirm ILIM of 3A can be supported with 196K of RLIM resistor? Do you have any calculator for…
Part Number: TPS65279 Hello Experts, Do you have the application note for Inductor selection except the datasheet? Customer is facing temperature rising issue of the Inductor. (Customer mentioned that the output current level does not affect to this issue…
Part Number: TPS65279 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS56637 Hi team,
My customer is a little confused about the vout (max) of our tps65279.
Our product folder shows that it can support to vout(max)=15v but it only recommend vout(max)=9v.
May…
Hi, Praveen
I have reviewed the schematic, some comments:
1. Did you ever see the VDD1V2 and P2V5 outputs rise up to their target voltage?
2. There are errors on soft start circuit at SSx pin.
Please remove R15 and R17(130kohm), and change C11…
Hi Meyer,
The voltage tracking means output voltage rising time/slew rate is same as SS. Yes that application note also applicable to TPS65279 SS/TR tracking feature.
