  • TPS727: Alternate part with same foot print but no minimum load current requirements

    Jonathan Geronga
    Jonathan Geronga
Part Number: TPS727 Hi Team, Do we have a TI part with almost 0 minimum load current to offer with our customer? His minimum load should be in the range of 1ua to 5uAs. Our datasheet shows 0 mA load current but upon testing for TPS727, its minimum is…

Part Number: TPS727 We noticed that the "pin A1" marking on P/N TPS72730YFF (DSBGA, 4 pins) is above the A2 ball rather than above the A1 ball (per the data sheet). Can you please confirm that this is indeed correct (e.g., that the mark is over pin A2…

Thanks Ryan! A couple of additional questions: 1) Is there a minimum requirement for ESR of the output capacitor used with TPS727? 2) What is the bypass capacitor Cb in the Zo equation in slyt187 document? Regards, Esa

Rick, Have a look at TPS706 and TPS782 in the SOT23 package. Those are good alternatives. If you need a chipscale option, TPS727 comes closest to meeting those requirements. ~ Aaron

Hi spanky, I'm not aware of any solutions that integrate both the boost converter and LDO, but I'm by no means an expert on power management devices, so I'd highly recommend asking on the E2E Power Management forum to see if anyone there has any additional…

Hi Chen, All parts currently available are listed under the "Package Option Addendum" at the end of the datasheet. Perhaps you could consider TPS727, it has similar features and there is a 4.8V part currently available. Best Regards, Victor
