Part Number: TPS798-Q1 Hi,Team:
Can you help to share your insight about how TPS798-Q1 can pass 1000V surge test? spec reference to GBT 3482-2008 level 4 for power line.
Part Number: TPS798-Q1 Hi,
I am looking into the specification of TPS798-Q1 and the output capacitor is recommended to be >1uF and <3Ohm in ESR. Is TPS798-Q1 stable as long as the effective Cout > 1uF, with no ESR zero? Thanks for your help! …
Hi Jason,
Yes this is very similar to a circuit we had in the TPS7A4101 datasheet. You can certainly apply the same concepts to the TPS798-Q1 (or any other LDO); however, it is important to make sure you remain within the recommended operating conditions…
Part Number: TPS798-Q1 Dear All:
I used the TPS79801 to output voltage 4.5V, but sometimes the output voltage is only 1.5V,the R138 is damaged, it seems like short circuit. i change the new part , it recover nto normal, what cause the result? I measure…
Part Number: TPS798-Q1 Hi, Team
I ask TPS798-Q1 Thermal Limit function.
In the datasheets, TPS798-Q1 has two descriptions of thermal limit.
One is shutdown temperature, another one is reset temperature.
Does this mean shutting down when it exceeds 135…
Part Number: TPS798-Q1 Hi team,
I think that the NC pin should be left floating without connecting any node.
However, looking at the pattern layout example of the datasheet, it seems that the NC pin is connected to GND.
Should the NC pin of this device…
Part Number: TPS798-Q1 Hi Team,
Q1.Does Low-Voltage Tracking work when the input voltage drops below the output voltage?
(Datasheet Page 12 7.4.1 Low-Voltage Tracking)
Best Regards,

Hi Domenico,
A 0.1 uF input capacitor is recommended but not required with the TPS798-Q1 device, as for drawbacks, input capacitor can have an impact on the device's stability and transient behavior.
TPS798-Q1 has many features that is not available…
