Part Number: TPS7A21-Q1 Hi,
In the datasheet for the TPS7A21-Q1, the dropout voltage for different temperatures is specified for Vin=3.6, Vout=3.3V.
However, the electrical characteristics table specifies a worst case dropout of 265 mV.
Just wondering…
Part Number: TPS7A21-Q1 Hi TI
Do you have Junction-to-ambient thermal resistance values for the TPS7A21-Q1? In the datasheet only TBD is noted.
Thanks

Part Number: TPS7A21 Hi,
I'm reading the article of Masashi Nogawa.
LDO noise examined in detail (ti.com)
In page 3 it says:
But in reality an error amplifier tends to have a very wide bandwidth, so the LDO device has very good power-supply ripple…
Part Number: TPS7A21 Could you please provide the Reflow test document ?
Device name: TPS7A2133PYWDJ
At first, I requested to CSC, but they not have the Reflow test document.
They said, "Please request to e2e".
Hi Nick,
I appreciate your recommendations. We would like to see what will be your decision with buck-boost converter and TPS7A11. I saw that you have TPS7A2118PQWDRBRQ1 too. Which one is better for us TPS7A11 or TPS7A21?
Best regards,
Kiril
Hi Yuto,
Thanks for the update. Like most modern LDO's, the LP5912 can operate down to 0A load. This is the older device and for improved stability, performance and cost, we recommend switching over to the new TPS7A21-Q1.
Thanks,
Stephen
Hi Yuto,
Thanks for the update. Like most modern LDO's, the LP5907 can operate down to 0A load. This is the older device and for improved stability, performance and cost, we recommend switching over to the new TPS7A21-Q1.
Thanks,
Stephen

Hi Frank,
Pin one is in a corner of the package. The dot you see in your image corresponds to the index area of pin 1.
You see this also in the TPS7A21 (higher current version of the TPS7A20). The index area also has a dot on the top of the package…
