We are planning a custom board for BLDC motor drive application.
1. Can we use TPS7A88-Q1 to power TMS320F28379D? Is there any reference…
Part Number: TPS7A88-Q1 Team,
I am working with the TPS7A88-q1. I was wondering if you could help me get some information on the foldback current limit profile. Is there some kind of equation or method that we could use to estimate the output current…

Hello team,
I'm Kai.
I have few question about TPS7A88-Q1 when out2 is not used? Could you support below?
Background: Use only one LDO (don't use out2). Want to reduce peripheral component.
・Should I connect cap to NR/SS2…
Part Number: TPS7A88-Q1 Hello,
On page 37 of the datasheet it shows 4 additional pads at the corner of the device marked A1 to A4. I could not find in the datasheet anything about what they are connected to. I assume that they would be the same as the…
Part Number: TPS7A88-Q1 Hi all,
Would it be possible to get a model of the TPS7A88-Q1 LDO that is capable of running AC analysis in SPICE.
The current model is transient only.
Thanks,
Tijana
Part Number: TPS7A88-Q1 Hi TI-team
My customer have question.
Is VEN > VIN acceptable ?
For example VIN=1.8V VEN=3.3V
Can not use ?
In that case, they will use a level shifter or resistor division.
Best Regards,
Koji Hayahi
Hi Gunter,
If you intend to have a safety system, LDO recommended for 1.2 V is TPS7A88-Q1 which will meet the power requirements. For non-safety application, LDO recommended for 1.2 V is TPS74801-Q1.
Thanks,
Susmitha.
Part Number: TPS7A88-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS82140 , Hi team,
Some power IC datasheet will have the Thermal Derating Curve which will show how the output current/output power change when temperature rise.
For example,tps82140 has the following…
Part Number: TPS7A88-Q1 Hello Expert,
TPS7A88-Q1 is consist of two independent LDO. Could I use this device as cascade connection? Like connect VOUT1 to VIN2.
Best regards,
