If you can split up the load into 2 chunks, the TPS82692 is ideal.
Assuming not, yes TPS82084 is a module that can work and be small. TPS62085 or TLV62084 are discrete ICs…
If 2.2Vout is acceptable, the TPS82692 would work.
Otherwise, I would recommend using the newer TPS62080 with its smaller 1 uH coil. There's plenty of options for those under 1.2mm. Who's your favorite vendor?
