Part Number: TPS92380 Hi E2E support team,
Is there a hardware star-up sequence that TPS92380 must follow?
I found sequence in the datasheet, Are the 500us delay required?
I need to consider adding delays(TPS3897A) and load switch to the schematic to achieve…
Part Number: TPS92380 Hi E2E team,
The block diagram is as follows:
The backlight characteristics of the panel are as follows:
Here are my design value calculations and schematic.

My choice for inductor…
Part Number: TPS92380 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LP8869-Q1 The EVM specified for the TPS92380 appears to be the same board as for LP8869-Q1.
Are these in effect the same device? For a basic functional test can the standard build of the EVM be considered…
Part Number: TPS92380 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS92390 , TPS92391 Hi team,
Could anyone suggest a replacement for comp device MP3398AGF?
The customer requires Vin12-24V, Vout45V, and at least 2channels.
Regards
Part Number: TPS92380 Hi
My customer want to used TPS92380 to replace other LED driver because of thermal issue, they want the IC surface temperature can under 50C.
But seems this EVM have in develop?
Would you have resource to help them run Pspice simulation…
Hi Gareth
As LED current is not given, based on current requirement, I recommend TPS92380. Three channels can be connected to support higher LED current.
hi Diego
Per my understanding, the intention to have down to 0.1% PWM duty cycle is to realize lowest LED current to 300mA*0.1%=0.3mA. It is quite hard to realize 300mA/0.3mA=1000:1 dimming ratio by only analog dimming. Possible solution is to work in…
Part Number: TPS92360 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS92380 , TPS61169 , Hi,
When I see the datasheet of TPS92360 or TPS61169, I found >5kHz is recommended at PWM dimming signal frequency. Seeing TPS92380, which is similar part number with TPS92360,…
