Hi Nishie,
Yes, you can use a device with a 0.8V voltage in section 5 (such as TPS62872Z0WRXSR) and connect the VSEL pin accordingly. Then, connect the I2C interface to GND.
We also have the TPSM8287A12 power module, for a simpler design.
Chris
Hi Becir,
Thanks for pointing this out. Yes, we should have used 406uF in that equation.
We also offer this device as a power module for a simpler design: TPSM8287A12. You might also look at that D/S, which has a slightly simpler set of calculations. …
Hi Guelmary,
Let me add that, in case you are considering a new design with this device, we have a much newer, and better performing, module in our portfolio:
TPSM8287A12
Feel free to check it out!
Thanks
Yann
Ah, I forgot to consider the SS time for such large Cout. It's been a while since I wrote this app note, which should match the issue you saw: https://www.ti.com/lit/an/slyt669/slyt669.pdf
Yes, with TPSM8287Axx there is a 4msec SS time option if you…
Hi,
Yes, those are the differences. The Q1 versions are also automotive qualified.
We also have the TPSM8287A12 family of power modules, for a simpler design.
Thanks,
Chris
Part Number: PTV03010W Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPSM8287A12 Hi
There are different label information on this product, 192019V, 1C1931V, 2B4224V, 291865V, please help to confirm what this information represents thank you
Yes, I just noticed that now. Maybe it could fit a different system, if you have a bit lower Vin.
Just FYI, we will also soon release the 6A version of the 12A TPSM8287A12, which has a 6V input and better thermal performance. It is larger and requires…
