    TS5A21366: Can I tie IN1 & IN2 together with single control signal along with other control circuit?

    Part Number: TS5A21366

    Hi TI experts,

    For current project I'm evaluating using TS5A21366 to isolate the ADC signal from potentiometer to uController.

    However I want to know if I can use only one control signal for IN1 & IN2.

    Is this possible or is there any internal circuitry that I need to pay attention to?

    Externally there is a pull down resistor 10K on the control signal for another PowerFET circuitry control.

    Basically I wanted to use single signal to toggle the MOSFET and TS5A21366 if possible.

    RE: TS5A21366 Analogue Switch Tj max

    Tony,

    Please refer to this application note Semiconductor and IC package thermal metrics

    It is best if you use the RθJA value as a way to compare parts versus using the value as an absolute since the customer’s system PCB design will highly influence this number as stated above.

    But if you must have a number using this calculation Tjmax= Ambient Tempmax + Pmax(RθJA) here it is below:

    Signal Switch power dissipation and junction temperature calculator.xlsx

    The max power for the TS5A21366 can be calculated by

    Pmax = (V+max)(I+max) + 2*[(Ino,Inc,Icommax)^2(Ron)]

    About 112mW = (5.5 V)(10uA) + 2[(200mA)^2(1.4 Ohm)

    Tjmax= Ambient Tempmax + Pmax(RθJA)

    Tjmax = (85°C) + (112mW)(253°C/W)

    Tjmax = 113.3°C

    113.3°C is an approximation of the maximum junction temperature that the device can obtain while operating at its maximum recommended values.  The datasheet abs max table states that max storage temperature for the device is 150°C which is well above 113.3°C.  This will mean that there is little risk of thermally causing damage while running this part to its maximum recommended values.

    Thank you,

    Adam

    TS5A21366 and SN74CB3T3306 - the ‎resistance value in case of switch OFF

    Hi all

    Would you mind if we ask TS5A21366 and SN74CB3T3306?

    In case of switch OFF, is it possible to regard the value as Hi-z(∞)?

    Kind regards,

    Hirotaka Matsumoto

    RE: TINA/Spice/TS5A21366: is the model available? How do CCOM(OFF), CCOM(ON), CNO(OFF), CNO(ON) vary with the bias voltage?

    Hi,
    Thanks for taking care about my question.
    Since the analog switch will work with a signal that goes from 0V to 5V and since I'm looking for very low capacitance device, I need to be sure that there is not a particular condition where the capacitance rises.
    I'm particular interested in the OFF capacitance.
    Kind regards
    Gabriele

    TS5A21366 DC behavior

    Hi team,

    I'm Matteo, Analog FAE in the graduate program EMEA.

    A customer that I'm supporting wants to know the DC behavior of the TS5A21366, doesn't find into the data sheet.

    Can we help him?

    Many thanks

    Matteo

    TS5A2066: Positive Clamping Diodes on VIN?

    Part Number: TS5A2066

    Hello,

    Does this device have positive clamping diodes on VIN?

    Basically, trying to understand if I can apply 5V to VIN or NO when VCC is 3.3V. I read the footnote that "The input and output voltage ratings may be exceeded if the input and output clamp-current ratings are observed" but it's still pretty unclear.

    Thanks,

    Michael

    TS5A2066: No high impedance without VCC

    Part Number: TS5A2066

    Hello,

    I am using the TS5A2066 in my design, but I need high impedance on its outputs when there is no Vcc (device OFF). This device partially provides the input voltage when not powered.

    Is it possible with another similar reference?

    Thank you

    SN74CBT3306: What is the state of O/P if Vin is 2V-3V

    Part Number: SN74CBT3306

    Hi

    We are using SN74CBT3306PWR in our design just want to know what will happen if pin#8 (VCC) slowly ramp-up from 0V to 5V then whta is the state of o/p from 0V to 4V since BCC operating condition is 4V to 5.5V

    Thanks

    Sagar

    TS5A23166: What is the difference between TS5A23166DCUR and TS5A21366DCUR?

    Part Number: TS5A23166

    e2e,

    I would like to replace TS5A23166DCUR with T5A21366DCUR.  Would you please let me know the pinout, package, and parametric differences between these two devices?

    Thank you,
