Part Number: UCC28050 Dear team,
My name is Oliver Kim, TI Korea FAE working in HKMC account.
When I looked into UCC28050, I couldn't understand how the power switch is turned on and off?
I believe,
phase 1) power switch turns off when switch current…
Part Number: UCC28050 Hello everyone. Is it possible to use any TI PFC controller with 9-12V 50Hz sine voltage? Or is there any kind of active PFC which is possible to work on such low voltage?

Hello,
I believe in the UCC28050 that master clock runs at the primary frequency. So if your switching frequency on the primary is 100 kHz the effective switching of your phase shifted full bridge will be 200 kHz and not 50 kHz.

Hi Ulrich
Thanks for the information
1. I looked at Mathcad Calculation Tool for UCC38050 Transition Mode PFC
2. Can I use with : UCC28050 ?
3. The formulas are different compare to UCC38050?
4. Please send me Mathcad calculation link to UCC28050
