  • RE: UCC28061: Using single output of UCC28061 and UCC28070

Hi Yokoto-san Yes you could use only one output of these devices. I don't think there are any problems - the UCC28060 provides a PHB pin to turn GDB off. There is no internal way to disable one of the outputs of the UCC28070 but you can tie one of…

Dan, The UCC28061 and UCC28063A (and UCC28060 and UCC28063, to be complete) employ a continuous phase adjustment circuit to adjust and maintain the 180-degree phase difference between the interleaved variable switching periods as the line voltage continually…

Hello S.K. The theoretical operation of these Transition-Mode (TM) PFC converters is based on constant on-time for a given load level. The input voltage varies from zero to peak but each switching cycle's on-time is the same, and with TM-boost the result…

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC28063 , UCC28061 , UCC28060 Hello, I would like to design a PFC with UCC28063 (similar to UCC28060, UCC28061). I intend it to work only on high line (so 200-250V AC input). When I do the calculations with the Excel…

Dear ; I need a similar PFC stage (3KW from single phase 240Vac) I was thinking on the UCC28063 and UCC28060 , in favor of the UCC28070 The UCC28070 seems to need an extra current transfo to sense the mosfet drain current. I think the interleaving…

Can you take a look at UCC28060 to see if it is ok for your applications?

Buck model PFC cannot generate output voltage higher than input voltage. You have to use a Boost model PFC such as ucc3854 or ucc28060/28070.

Can you please tell me exactly where in the part of the circuit you would want to see the waveforms. Please refer to the UCC28060 User's Guide SLUU280B (–May 2007–Revised July 2008) schematics and I will cross ref it with our design. Thanks, Ro…
