Hi Bell,
There is no EVM or reference design for UCC28251, you can refer to the EVM and reference design of UCC28250, the previous generation of UCC28251. Below is link to the EVMs and reference design for UCC28250: www.ti.com.cn/.../toolssoftware

Part Number: UCC28251 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC28250 , LM5045 , PMP6712 Question is that possible to make a 3Kw DC-DC inverter push-pull 12V input on primary and 390Vdc full bridge on secondary , current at primary are in the range of 250Amp…
Hello Sergei,
I used the EVM for UCC28250 and there is no external circuit to discharge the CSS. Can you show me the rest of your schematic so we have a better understanding if something else is keeping the CSS charged?

Sonal
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC28250 , UCC28251 Hi Host
I recently study UCC28250 for my next design. But I not sure is best idea or not.
Can you give me some recommendation for 400W, 60~120Vdc input/isolation/ 60Vdc output?
Other features, SR on secondary…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC28250 , LM5027 Hi Team, Could you tell me PWM controller device that meets the following requirement? ---------------------------------------- Push-Pull or Active clamp forward integrated Synchronous Rectifier Control Out…
Part Number: UCC28251 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC28950 , UCC28250 , TINA-TI Hi Team,
We are developing 300V DC output switched mode power supply using UCC28251 PWM controller.I have connected 0.1uf capacitor in SS pin. While testing IC alone…
Due to the wide range of input (output of the bridge rectifier) and 450V output, single-ended topology (e.g., flyback, forward) is not suitable for your application as the voltage stress of the device would be quite high. Among the double-ended topologies…
Hi Jared,
Most of the controllers in isolation topology categories(Flyback, Halfbridge, full bridge, pushpull, forward, etc) can be used to design the converter which could meet IEC60601-1.
Flyback: UCC3843, LM5021
Halfbridge: UCC28250, LM5035
ACF: LM5025…
It seems the link is not accessible. You can find it by searching "Designing UCC28250 as a Secondary Side Control for
Output Turn-On with a Pre-Bias Condition".
Ashok,
The peak current mode control would cause the voltage drift at the mid-point of the capacitive divider if the duty cycle of the two primary switches get unbalanced. This in turn causes transformer flux imbalance and eventually leads to saturation…
