Part Number: UCC283 Hello Guys, Good day. Our customer is looking to use UCC283 for their application. Basically it will be a power supply of 9V then the laser after that would be the UCC283 chip. He has concerns because he needs 2.5A. Will the…

I have probed CT pin, it still hold GND and no any pulse. The CAP of input and output is 22uF and 100uF. The input voltage is 8.5V, ripple of the input is about 100mV. Thanks Jacky

Hi Jason, I was surfing on the UCC283 product page for other reasons and by chance I have found SLAA412A document. This explanes many aspects of the noise issues, so I basicly get an answere to my question. Maybe not figures as would help more but design…

Hi James, Unfortunately we do not have very many LDOs in this package with that pin out. I was able to find one more part, but it is only rated from -40C to 85C and it has a 2.5% accuracy. You can look at the UCC283 as well, but as I mentioned the…

Jianxiong: I reviewed the UCC383-5 and drop out when with vout of 5.5V PTH08T240WAx and filter losses. The ferrite bead and BNX016 losses at 6 amps are in the low mV region. I would estimate this is about 45-85mV at the most. The module maximum voltage…
