Hi Alberto,
I put the specification into the calculator tool for the UCC28911 and the recommended inductance for the transformer is 1.1mH. The calculator also recommends a primary to auxiliary turns ratio of 4.87.
I thinks you may have an issue…
Hi PVERA,
Take a look at the following controllers:
Opto-coupler feedback:
1. LM5023
2. UCC28740
Primary side regulation:
1. UCC28700
2. UCC28710
3. UCC28630
The webpage for each controller should also have links to existing TI refrence…
The PSR controllers with integrated power switch like the UCC2910 family and the PSR controllers with high voltage start up like the UCC28710 family all require a minimum of 35V input in order to start.
The UCC28700 PSR controller does not have an integrated…
Hi Jimmy,
You can take a look at PMP8363. It is 5V, 2A design based on UCC28710 with 81% efficiency and standby power of 17mW at 230Vac.

Let me know if it helps

Hi, Leela,
Can you help me to understand more of your application and requirements?
Most of our IC can start from 700V. Some needs external circuit, some can directly interface with 700V without extra components.
If you just looking for the solution…
Hey Hagan,
The UCC28700 already takes care of cable compensation. That additional feedback network shown in the TPS2511 dedicated USB charger is for power supplies that regulate using a feedback network. UCC28700 uses primary side regulation by using…
Hi Lisa-san,
I really appreciate for your support.
By the way, UVLO threshold of UCC28700/UCC28710/UCC28740 seems 23V(MAX). Is it possible to start up the device at Vin=18V? The lower limit of input voltage is 18V in my customer's requirement.
If…
Hi Christophe,
what is your input range? output power?
TI has some new ICs for flyback which could achieve +/- 5% current regulation.
You can search for UCC28700/ UCC28710/UCC28740.

Kuan,
Thanks for the interest here. Are you saying the customer wants fewer external components? or is smaller size most important here?
You may consider looking at controllers with integrated HV startup focused on low system cost. These devices…
