Hi,
One of the reference designs for UCC28730 shows HV pin pull resistance of 900k for 60V-1000V Vin. (Refer image)
According to datasheet, the start-up current required…
Part Number: UCC28730 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PMP22557 Tool/software: Hi,
I am trying to make an ultra low quiescent current buck converter. I saw your PMP22557 reference design after designing it myself, and found it quite similar.
However,…
Part Number: UCC28730 Tool/software: Hello all,
I am trying to simulate the mentioned Flyback controller in PSpice. But due to some unknown reasons, I am not getting the desired output.
I found the above circuit on TI's website and is the one I am using…
Part Number: UCC28730-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC28730 Tool/software: Hi Team,
I would like to know is there any possibility if added circuit to can control the line voltage precisely about 50 +/- 3V using UCC28730-Q1
Below is the calcu…
Part Number: UCC28730-Q1
Tool/software:
Hi,
According to the datasheet, the minimum ON time of the MOSFET should be greater than t-csleb (leading edge blanking time).
For my application, the design calculator suggests ~700uH of primary inductance, but…
Part Number: UCC28730-Q1 Tool/software: I have designed a 23 W Flyback-Converter with 1Outputs with a Inputvoltage of 250-800V and an Outputvoltage of 11V/2.1A. I am now trying to put the PCB in operation, but I am facing unstable switching behaviours…
Hi Dale,
One thing which you could try is cutting the Vs signal trace on PCB if it exists on outer layer and try running a wire directly from AUX to these resistor and connect to pin to see if there is any difference in performance.

Harish
Part Number: UCC28740-Q1 Tool/software: Hello
We are planning to use, UCC28740QDRQ1 and UCC28730QDRQ1 in our design, But we need it to operate over a temperature range of -55 to 150degC . But as per datasheet recommended operating temp is given as -40 to…
Part Number: UCC28730-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC28730 Tool/software: Hi expert,
UCC28730 has this curve for EA output to current output.
Between 1.3-2.2V, IPP control a fixed on-time and FM increase the switch frequency to increase the output…
