UCC3817 Design Procedure.pdf Hello Kazuya Naka,
There is no Excel calculator available for this part.
Attached is a pdf of the Mathcad calculator. This can be used to put the equations into Excel if a Mathcad licence is not available.

John
Part Number: UCC3817A Hello guys,
One of my customers is trying to design a PFC using UCC3817A for their next products.
They are using 6330.UCC3817 Design Procedure.pdf for external parts calculation.
The pdf file has a gain parameter, Gid.
Do you have…
Hi Kazuya,
It can be opened with version 12. Usually you cannot open a MathCAD file if you are trying to open it with an older version of MathCAD not a newer one.
Maybe MathCAD trial version can not open this MathCAD file. I suggest customer to use MathCAD…

Hello,
You have a low frequency instability in your power supply. You should re-calculate the compensation network component values in the feed back circuit. The first sample shows an instability at 0.3Hz and the second is unstable at 0.6Hz. When your power…
I am not exactly sure why the two waveforms are different. However, I had noticed that you are using the UCC38070 in a three phase application. This device was designed for single phase applications. If the VINAC pin does not see a rectified sine wave…
Hi,
In one of the existing design I was working (pfc boost with UCC2818D controller) , I noticed that soft start is implemented by pulling the voltage error amplifier down through a diode (which will make multiplier output to zero) as shown in blue lines…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC3818 , UCC3817 Hi,
I am desinging a 2KW PFC controller with the UC2818 controller. One of the requeriments of this design is that the
input voltage could be compressed between 380VAC to 440VAC, 50Hz. I have already validate…
