Can i use this driver W/O VD pin ?

The UCD7138 VD pin is connected to the diode conduction detection comparators internally.
My question is what would happen if this pin is somehow floating?

The original h/w designer is not in TI. You may want to check with UCD7138 team in the forum and see if they have some comment. Or you can also check UCD7138 datasheet on the external circuit.
