Hi Bowen,
Thank you for the additional information. Which ADC the customer is using?
Depending on the ADC and configuration, there is a minimum gain bandwidth that is required from the driving op amp. You can also use the Analog Engineer's Calculator…
Part Number: TMS320F2812 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: C2000WARE
Hi I am using FFT library and results I am getting look fine but I have still some concerns about some points.
Here above the code snippet currently running. 1. I am still not sure the order…
Part Number: TMS320F28075 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: C2000WARE Hi
My customer use TMS320F28075 ADC to sample three-phase electric power.
As you see, the green wave is voltage input to ADC. Fundamental is 50Hz, almost hasn't 100Hz harmonic.
The…
Hi Ishiwata-san,
At 5.4dBu = 1.44Vrms with a gain of +3dB, the voltage seen at the ADC is 2.03Vrms which is greater than the 2Vrms full scale limit given by the datasheet. In this range the harmonic behavior isn't tested with any scrutiny.
We don't…
Part Number: ADS4128 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: THS4541 , THS4509 , TSW2170EVM , TSW2110EVM Hello,
I have an application with an ADS4128 driven by an AFE using THS4541 and THS4509 op amps.
I want to be able to reproduce the setup used in figure 8 of…
Part Number: TAC5212EVM-K I recently received one of your evaluation boards and am finding the documentation a bit hard to follow. I was wondering if you might be able to suggest an initial set of configurations that I can use to do a basic loopback test…
You are correct, but since these groups are always doing devices for the next rounds of test equipment they always have to do better than anything you can buy. In HD work, source cancellation methods are normally used, one of the very few published references…
Hi Oleg,
Oleg Chaichenko said: You wrote in hex format. I provide info in decsimal format. (the divider is 4 and the sample window is 16)
OK - so that is:
ADCCTL2.PRESCALE = 0x6, or ADCLK/4
ADCSOC0CTL.ACQPS = 0xF, or 16 SYSCLK cycles
Sets up a total conversion…
Hello,
We have references on TI Precision Labs to help show how to run TINA simulations for stability analysis: Spice Simulation
There are also many other resources on op amp stability and minimizing oscillations referenced in this e2e post here for future…
Hi Steven Park,
Steven Park said: Does the internal reference has a noise spec?
One of my colleagues estimated the noise of the ADS1262 internal reference, see the plot below. Note that this is an estimate and is therefore not a guaranteed spec.
Also note…
