Part Number: LM3405A
Hi, TI expert
There is a request for a schematic review using the LM3405A from a customer.
The circuit diagram is attached as below.
Customer wanted to use 4 LED VF 1.5V in series, but because the BOOST PIN is 5.5V the maximum…
Hi Sean,
Some questions as following,
IR mode which can respond with the "STROBE" pin very quickly
Q. What is the raising and falling time?
2. For SFH 4725AS 3PCS use a LM3644, and a LM36011 is OK.
Q. customer will need to use 2 LM3644, and…
It's output will be set to 4.5V , average output current is ~ 2A, short duration peak current may near 3A.
Input source will be 5V power bank, 5V QC/PD adapter.
Thus, it's better to use higher boost Vin range IC, ex 6V or 7V Vin range will be safer…
Mohit,
If you prefer your examples in C-code format, you can reference the example code provided in the BOOST-IR landing page ( www.ti.com/.../BOOST-IR) . This example code was made for the MSP430FR4133 but you can port the IRDA implementation to your…
Hi Went,
1. IR mode has the shorter response time, it was usually be used with fast response time requirement;
2. No, in IR mode, you don't need to provide such long time for pulse. The minimum pulse for IR mode depends on the boost mode or…
Hi Rafael,
My problem is that this impedance switch causes a variational voltage drop on my 5V line.
If you only have 5Vdd available in your board, TLV4111 is unable to source the 5Vdc @150mA load for the application as voltage follower.
To accomplish…
Part Number: LM3643 Hi Support team
Customer has a few questions:
Section 9.3.3 talks about IR mode. Figure 27 is IR mode with Boost and Figure 28 is IR mode pass only. However the enable register only shows IR drive mode (Mode bits). Does the chip…
Hi Srijit, Thanks for your post. Please check Infrared (IR) BoosterPack Plug-in Module : www.ti.com/.../boost-ir . You can find document, code example and board reference design in this web. Hope this reference is helpful for you to solve the problem in your…
Hi Bruce,
The time in boost mode is longer than in pass mode. If you need very fast response time, I suggest to use Pass Mode+IR mode, the setting time uner Pass+IR mode is about 35us. But in boost mode+IR mode , the settin time is about 200us.…
