Part Number: BQ24195 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: USB-TO-GPIO2 , BQ2419XEVM , USB2ANY Hello TI team,
I just tried to connect the evaluation board BQ24195EVM-193 to PC via USB-TO-GPIO2 interface adapter.
When I have connected the interface adapter to…
Part Number: BQ24195 I have requirement in which battery should not be charged if cell voltage is 2.5V. For that I want to make battery which can be discharged to 2.5V but Vbat_dpl is from 2.4V to 2.6V on Vbat failing for BQ24195 so will this allow me…
Part Number: BQ24195
hello I am currently purchasing and testing the bq24195_EVM. When I looked at the data sheet, I understood that PMID can be used as a power supply for 5V input devices such as cell phones because it gives out 5V. We had to use 5V output…
Part Number: BQ24195 Hi TI team,
Just a simple question,
is it possible to discharge a battery connected to VBAT through VSYS even if VBUS voltage is valid?
Best regards
Jordi
Hi Dhananjay,
I’ve used a bq34110 fuel gauge EVM for logging battery voltage & current. It supports a wide range of voltages. Or an oscilloscope with a current probe may work.

Part Number: BQ24195 Hi Team,
Our customer is using Arduino MKRWiFi1010 that contains BQ24195. According to her, w hen it gets an error on Reg09, it halts all arduino operations. She is getting the values of 128 and 48. She had reached out to Arduino but was…
Part Number: BQ24195 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS631000 I have an application where I can operate off a Li-Ion battery or a 5.0V charger supply. I have need of supplies from 0.85 Volts to 12 Volts. I am planning on connecting the SYS output to…
Part Number: BQ24195 With the system powered only by the battery, without an external source, the current on the BAT pin is 160 mA. The IC is heating up. This current should have a value close to 15mA, right? What could be happening? This is my schemattic…
Part Number: BQ24195 When I run the test without battery or charge, the IC is warming up. Input current is approaching 2A, is this normal? How should I test the functioning of the IC on the battery? This is my schemattic for reference.
Part Number: BQ24195 Hi I have a question regarding the bq24195 that is not clear to me. With this IC I can power my system using either battery or external DC power right? Is there a prioritization between the power sources? For example when the DC source…
