Part Number: BQ24650 Hi TI.
I designed a 20A mppt with your BQ24650 product. Can you recommend me mosfet in DPAK package for this project?
When I tried it with DIODES DMT10H010LK3 it didn't work (low side gate voltage became 0). Works when I try it…
Part Number: BQ24650 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24610 Hi team,
Customer would like to know efficiency when VCC is 12~17V.
Could you provide please?
(We can see the case of VCC=25V in datasheet p29)
Best regards,
Goto
Hi Steve,
Since I don't know that exact failure, I can't predict if the series resistor will fix the issue but, if you can cut the trace from HDRV to the Q1 gate and add it, it is worth a try.

Jeff
Hi Jose,
Thank you for your patience.
We do not have a dv/dt specification for this IC. There is so much capacitance and then an inductor on the input as to where it has never been an issue or area of concern.
Please let me know if you have additional…
Hi Jose,
Jose said: Is there anything about the TPS259474ARPWR that we're missing that makes it impossible to use?
I don't see anything obvious here but I would suggest testing this implementation in your design.
Please let me know if you have…
Part Number: BQ24650 Dear Sir,
I am currently working on two projects that involve the use of 1x BQ24650 and 2x BQ24650, but I have encountered some issues related to chip damage. I have attached the schematic and layout for your reference, and I would…
Part Number: BQ24650 Hi
The customer design with BQ24650, please refer to the attached schematic.
It can be seen from the figure that there is a diode between the bq24650 output and the battery. The purpose is to prevent the battery from supplying power…
Part Number: BQ24650 Hi,
If our final option is to disable the thermistor function, and control the charge suspension by firmware, what voltage should we set on the TS pin?
According to our analysis, as Vhtf is 47.5% and Vltf 73.5%, it seems safer to…
Part Number: BQ24650 Hi,
We have an electronic board in production with the BQ24650 for a maximum charge current of 4A (using a 6.8uH inductor and 10 milliohm sensing resistance). This board works perfectly, with excellent performance and reaches the m…
