Part Number: BQ25121 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ51003 Why is the charging current into the battery only 2 mA before programming the BQ25121? schematic below
Nate, I haven’t seen this mode before. Since you do mention a couple devices are failing, the probability of a bad solder job is marginal given that all the devices are failing the same way. Have you tried a different unit on a “bad” board? What is the…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25121 Hi, I have a question if I can use the BQ25121 with a 3V Li-ion battery, like VL-3032/GUFN? I will set the SYS output with 2.5V and recharge from a 5V USB.
Thank you.
Part Number: BQ25121 Hi~
I have a question about the phenomenon that the charge current decreases related VIN_DPM mode. (refer to below red box in table)
What may cause below phenomenon?
Is it an attribute of the product? Or is there any point(Register…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25121 have a 50mA LIPO connected to BQ with VIN 5vDC connected, as I can note the volatge is 0.5vDC approx so the BQ25121 cant be programmed over i2c (infact micro wont even work! to begin with!) , Have IPRETERM, ISET…
Hi Tripple Power,
On the BQ25121, the I2C buffers are references to VSYS internally. So it is best to leave the pull-up resistors to the VSYS votlage threshold.
The High and low values are typically 75% and 25% of the VSYS voltage.
We will get…
