Hi Austin, There are different installers for EVSW for different fuel gauges. What is the part number of the fuel gauge that you are trying to talk to? For example, is it bq20z65 or bq3050 or something else?

The bq4050 is the replacement for the bq3060, bq3050 and the bq3055. It is offered in the same package nor is it pin compatible, but I has some very nice new features and is built on a more advanced hardware platform.

You are using a 4S configuration, so most of our Impedance Track and CEDV gauges should support your cells. You could use the bq40z50 as an IT option or the bq3050 as a CEDV option.

Jason, The bq40z50 won't be able to work for this application with such short pulses. A CEDV gauge, such as the bq3050 may work, but I'm not sure how the performance will be.
