Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ78PL114 Hello,
I am trying to find some documentation for all the control and status registers in the bq78pl114. SLUS850B does not describe anything beyond the standard registers.
Thanks
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ78PL114 When using the bq78PL114 Battery Management controller, is there any reason the sense resistance cant be changed to 1 or 3 mohms? obviously the hardware OC and SC parameters will need to be changed accordingly…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ78PL114 Hi,
I just received the EVM for BQ78PL114 and played around with it. I then (mistake) changed the FIRMWARE to the S12 (FW5000) version. How do I change it back to the FW4452 version? The EVM files did not seem…
How can we measure temperatures beyond 4 cells ? Because bqwizard , firmware 6000 loaded on bq78pl116 does not allow more than 4 temperature sensors to be associated (which means it is not possible to access bq78pl102 's temperature information ?) with…
Look at the description of this safety feature in the SLUU330b Technical Reference Manual.
This could be indicating a problem with your pack, like a broken weld strap.
Relearn/Initialize should clear safety counters.
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ78PL114 Hi,
I'm using the BQ78PL114 to manage a 4 cells battery pack. Actually, my BMS is not able to stabilize the cells.
When my pack is on the charger, the mosfet open when cell1@3.35V - cell2@3.35V - cell3@3…
The cell voltages for LiFePO4 is simply too low for bq78PL11x:
The minimum start-up voltage requirement is 2.9 V, see RECOMMENDED OPERATING CONDITIONS in datasheet . This requirement is for every connected cell.
In addition, the datasheets specify…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ76PL102 , BQ78PL114 Hi there,
Just finished my first own design with the bq78pl114 and 4 bq76pl102. Using the old firmware and shorting V7 and V8 so I can control 7 Cells.
The communication is working and after…
Short answer is I'm not sure how you got to access level 0. Once in bq78PL114S12 there really isn't a way to get out of Access level 0. Access level 2 is the only one supported right now for bq78PL114S12.
The bqWizard interface for bq78PL114 (FW4452…
Hi Marcelo, I stop working with bq78pl114 couple years ago, but if I remeber well I solved this problem by connecting the bq78pl114 pin nº31 to the ground. Try to do this and then please tell me if you have successful, maybe I can give you some more tips…
