Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ78PL114 Hi, I just received the EVM for BQ78PL114 and played around with it. I then (mistake) changed the FIRMWARE to the S12 (FW5000) version. How do I change it back to the FW4452 version? The EVM files did not seem…

How can we measure temperatures beyond 4 cells ? Because bqwizard , firmware 6000 loaded on bq78pl116 does not allow more than 4 temperature sensors to be associated (which means it is not possible to access bq78pl102 's temperature information ?) with…

Look at the description of this safety feature in the SLUU330b Technical Reference Manual. This could be indicating a problem with your pack, like a broken weld strap. Relearn/Initialize should clear safety counters.

The cell voltages for LiFePO4 is simply too low for bq78PL11x: The minimum start-up voltage requirement is 2.9 V, see RECOMMENDED OPERATING CONDITIONS in datasheet . This requirement is for every connected cell. In addition, the datasheets specify…

Short answer is I'm not sure how you got to access level 0. Once in bq78PL114S12 there really isn't a way to get out of Access level 0. Access level 2 is the only one supported right now for bq78PL114S12. The bqWizard interface for bq78PL114 (FW4452…
