Part Number: DLPC3439 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLPA3005 , Hello TI-Team,
i have a question about the SPI communication to the DLPA3005.
After the digital image processing of the 3439, what information is sent to the 3005 via SPI and how is…
Cat,
Thanks for your interest in our DLP products.
After all supplies reach their nominal levels, the system takes around ~5ms before RESETZ goes high, and another ~500ms before initialization completes and I2C interaction becomes possible. Note…
Hi Nadine,
I think the GUI can not read the DMD device ID. Because I see it read DMD device ID is 60h,0Dh,00h,73h by composer.
But it is 60h,0Dh,00h,6Bh in DLPC3439 Software Programmer’s Guide.
So I believe it is wrong in reading DMD device ID.…
Hello,
Thanks for posting in the DLP forums! Are you seeing this issue when using the GUI or direct I2C communication to the platform?
Best,

Hello User,
Since the 4710 chip set is mainly for display application switching between one or two LED's would be a customized firmware change. Therefore I would recommend looking into the advanced light control chip sets.
Is there a specific reason…
Hello Samtim,
We are currently supporting two options for the DMD pin-mapping.
The first option is shown in the DLPC3439 datasheet.
The other option would be following:
This should work with the YOI flex cable pin-out.
Best regards,

Hello Rossinag,
During the DLPC3439 initialization process the DLPC3439 is reading the DMD device ID. If the controller is not able to read the DMD device ID or is reading a wrong DMD device ID the power up process will be stopped and the projector…
Part Number: DLPA3005 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLPC3439 Tool/software: What needs to happen between RESET_Z going high, and VOFFSET, VBIAS, VRESET being the correct voltage? What could cause them to be wrong?
