Part Number: DRV8332-HT Team,
The product folder overview states peak output current = 13A. The datasheet states peak output current = 7A.
Can you clarify that mismatch?
Thanks!

Is this the correct package dimension drawing for the DKD 36 pin package? There are no dimensions on this document it is just a picture of the part. Am I missing something here? I was looking for a drawing specifying mechanical…
Hi Hakan,
The DRV8332 is intended to be controlled by a mcu. The mcu will accept the hall sensor signals, then convert the signals into the proper controls on PWM_X and /RESET_X.

I would like to use DRV8332-HT in high temperature (175 degree C) environment for Long time(10 yrs) .
What kind of test procedure have you done to spec the component for 175 Degree…
Hi Adam,
I used my own design and it is just been tested on a breadboard.
The schematic is shown below.
I was thinking maybe I did a wrong order of opening power supply. It looks like that the PWM wave generated before 12v power came to DRV8332…

Hi,
I see from the datasheet that nominal PVDD is 50V. I also see an example application with PVDD of 24V. Finally, table 7.2 show a minimum of 0V on PVDD.
In my application (coil driver) in need to use 5V or lower.
I just…
Adam,
Thanks for the information.
Since I am designing for the first time. The dimensions of DRV8332 is 15.90mm × 11.00mm. Any separate heatsink is required specifically for the IC itself?
Designed pcb is of 2 layer.
Kindly suggest.
Part Number: DRV8332 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8305 , This time I will ask you to use the BLDC motor in robot competition. Also, because RC ESC has difficulty in controllability, we thought that it would be possible to control it properly by…
