Part Number: LDCCOILEVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LDC0851EVM Hello Team,
Posting on behalf of my customer:
Due to space limitations, Are there any premade stacked coils that come in various sizes?
Is there any way to use LDCCOILEVM for a stacked…
Part Number: LDC1312EVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LDCCOILEVM , LDC1312 We have purchased the LDC1312EVM and set it up so one of the channels is connected to a LDCCOILEVM example coil. The coil chosen is coil C (100 x 8mm, 17 turns, 4mil trace, 4mil…
Part Number: LDCCOILEVM Hi, I recently ordered the LDCCOILEVM board as I'm designing a sensor for a linear actuator. One of the traces on that board, the 40x5mm rectangular racetrack pattern, would work pretty fantastic for what I'm trying to do (20mm…
Part Number: LDCCOILEVM Hello,
Since coil "E" is the only rectangular coil among this reference coils board, I'm wondering which is TI's recommendation for this coil type. I mean, what should be the target shape and what is the optimal plane of movement…
Part Number: LDCCOILEVM Hi Team,
My customer would like to know following PCB Fabrication information of LDCCOILEVM board. Could you please tell me the following about the PCB Fabrication information of this board?
1. board thickness 2. surface layer copper…
Part Number: LDCCOILEVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LDC1101 Dear Community,
I have a LDC1101 EVM evaluation board. I have tested it with the default sensor on board which is 14mm diameter. I have a LDCCOILEVM and I want to use coil H and I sensor…

Hi experts,
In the Sensor design guide I found this " For mostapplication,a sensorcapacitanceof 300 pF to 2 nF is generallyrecommendedunlessa specificsensorfrequencyis needed. For…
Hello,
Yes this device can achieve a 25mm sensing distance. We have the LDCCOILEVM that has a few larger coils that are designed for larger sensing ranges. I would recommend starting with one of the 46mm diameter coils from this for prototyping.
Best Regards…
Part Number: LDC1612 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LDCCOILEVM , Hello,
I am seeing some unexpected output code oscillations which trend in the expected linear direction over any linear displacement. The oscillations appear to repeat every 2mm. The following…
Arthur,
Disabling automatic amplitude control is the most reliable way to go since the automatic adjustments are out of your control and your goal is high precision/resolution. This approach may require you to manually adjust the IDRIVE setting over the…
