Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM25118 , LM3481 I was wondering if I could use the LM3481 to generate a 12V/5-6A output from a 5-20V input. Webench doesn't allow me to use those values and about the only part I found using Webench was the LM25118 which…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5118 , LM25118 Hello,
I have a customer that is trying to find a way to have the following parameters:
Vout: 3V - 15V
Vin: 6V - 9V
Iout: 2.25A
It looks like the LM5118 or LM25118 could work based on the described…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5118 , LM25118 Hi.
I need a DC/DC converter, the input voltage is 10 ~ 19 Vdc, and output voltage is 12.5Vdc / 4A(avg) ~ 5A (pk).
I choose the SEPIC topology, and search TI product,
But I don't know what is the…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM25118 Dears:
We are using the LM25118 to design a buckboost application.
The input range is 10.8V~14.4V, the output range is 12V, 20A.
And we have some problems for designing the inductor.
Would you please kindly…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM25118 , LM5118 Dear TI support,
is there any need for a base load for the LM25118Q1?
At the moment i'm evaluating the different possibilities to realise the following requirements:
Uin min = 5V, Uin max = 17V …
I opened up a webench design for LM25118 using your parameters. What issue are you having with it? I'm no sure how wb selects components. I will proabaly move this to models forum, they can probably better assist you.
have a look at the http://www.ti.com/product/lm5118-q1 or even the little brother LM25118, even if both are a bit borderline in terms of output current...
also please consider the following reference design http://www.ti.com/tool/pmp7338

When I run webench with your parameters I get results for LM5118 and LM25118. It seems to work properly for those two devices for Vin = 6 to 24 V, Vout = 12V and Iout = 3A.
