Part Number: LM5145 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5146-Q1 Hi
How can the following LM5145RGYR test results improve efficiency?
>95% @ 12Vin?
>90% @48Vin?
Thanks
Hi Benjamin,
Please complete the LM5116 Excel quickstart file for guidance on component selection (you can download the file from the product folder).
Note that the LM5146-Q1 100V controller has lower deadtimes than the LM5116 and will provide…
Hi Dice-K,
We do not currently model DCM operation in WEBENCH or the quickstart calculator. However, you can try your configuration by suitably modifying the LM5145 or LM5146-Q1 EVMs.

Part Number: TPS40170 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5146 , LM5145 Hello,
Same question as was answered >2 years ago. Why does webench not support TPS40170.
Thank you
Yes, it's important to kep the injected ripple amplitude reasonable for best line regulation. If output accuracy is important, consider a voltage-mode or current-mode controller, e.g. LM5146-Q1, LM25141-Q1.

Tim
Part Number: LM5145-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CSD19533Q5A In a project, I want to integrate LM5145-Q1 with the following specifications:
Vin: 24V to 75V (44-50V typical)
Vout : 12V
Iout max : 6A
According to excel calculator (in attachment…
Hi
you can use wenbench for efficiency estimation, I did it. for 48VIn 12Vo 200Khz 4A, efficiency around 96.3% in room temp.
alternative is controller soltuion(LM5145 or LM5146), You need use external fet, you can place the control part at bottom…
Hi Johan,
This seems quite similar to the LM5145 EVM in terms of MOSFET selection. Actually, it's similar to the LM5146-Q1 EVM as well as that's 12V/8A/400kHz.
Please send a completed LM5145 quickstart file. I see the output is a bit low here…
