Hi Dice-K,
We do not currently model DCM operation in WEBENCH or the quickstart calculator. However, you can try your configuration by suitably modifying the LM5145 or LM5146-Q1 EVMs.
Please consider using the LM25141 or the LM25148 controllers…
Not in terms of EVMs, but it should be easy enough to modify the LM5146-Q1 EVM if needed. Also, take a look at the 24V output apps example in the LM5145 datasheet.
Part Number: LM5141 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5146 Hi,
I want to know the difference between switching controller and switching voltage regulator IC?
For ex: LM5141 - listed as switching controller
LM5146 - listed as switching voltage regulator…
Part Number: LM5116 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5146 , Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools Good morning. I have a problem with Webench. I have to simulate the same power supply with LM5116 and LM5146. Works well with LM5146 but with LM5116 the…
Part Number: LV5144
Tool/software:
Hello, I have designed a 60V nominal (max Vin may be a bit higher, hence why I chose LV5144 and 100V mosfets) to 18V @ 8A buck converter, based on the schematics for the LM5146EVM and the webench suggestions. The…
Hi Sunaina,
This is an older EVM, so we may not have the PCB design files available.
Please consider using the LM5145 synchronous buck controller instead. There are two EVM designs for this controller family that you can refer to: LM5145EVM-HD…
I'm sorry. Add another one Can you tell me the number of metals and masks for the die? I got the following answer for another device. ”LM5146-Q1 die has 3 metal and 23 mask”

Part Number: LM5116 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5146 , , PMP11257 , LM5146-Q1 Hi,
I am concerned about SW node ringing when the high side MOSFET turns on. My Vin is 87V (abs max) but I want to use 100VDS MOSFETs if it all possible. I therefore…
