Hi, I think the IC does not have the Forced PWM mode in this case where you can program the frequency to be fixed at all load condition. You have to add an unnecessary load to be operating in CCM mode I would suggest, using the LM73605 or LM73606…

Hello Jiang, Providing answers to your questions: 1. Can I change the mode while the power supply is operating? a. Yes, you can dynamically change the Mode of the converter from Auto-to-FPWM and FPWM-to-Auto, either way. 2. The clock fails at…

The TPS device is adequate to meet your needs. I would recommend you also consider the LM73605 Pascal. Hope this helps?

Hi Philipp, The LM73605 36V, 5A converter with integrated FETs is suitable for your application. Its Toff-min of 70ns allows you to meet the 24Vin to 23Vout conversion at 350kHz. Regards, Tim

Hi Arief, Thank you for your help. I tried 120kHz (1.2V 4.5A) and diode seems 60C at 30C ambiant. I belive it will be easier to press D2PAK diode to aluminum vs LM73605.

Hi, The rise in VOUT voltage is because the part is in Pulse Frequency Mode. MODE pin is grounded When the MODE pin is pulled up to VCC, the part will operate in FPWM mode in this case frequency is fixed and the VOUT will be regulated at 3.3V. You…

Hi Rainer, Here are some additional notes: Use higher resistance FETs. The ripple injected internally is based upon the ripple across the low-side FET. Use a FET with Rdson >= 10mOhms increases the in-phase ripple injected. Higher is better…

Perhaps you can look at the LMZM33606 which integrates the LM73605 converter. Figure 67 shows a typical soft-start sequence. The delay time looks roughly half a division which comes out to around 1ms. There will be some additional delay glitch time of…
