Part Number: DRV8312-69M-KIT Hello,
Can this kit (DRV8312-69M-KIT) drive an AC induction motor, like this one: LVACIMTR?
If not, what is the best kit to use? I have a customer that would like to get familiar with InstaSpin-FOC and MOTION
Thank you, Ryan…
Dear Chris ,
I tried the universal GUI to operate LVACIMTR motor from TI with F280027F + BOOSTTXL-DRV8301 and it doesn't work. It can't recognize the motor as ACIM.
Regards.
what do you mean by SPWM?
we use an SVPWM technique, with modulation options that allow you to limit to pure sinewave, space vector modulation, and full trapezoidal over-modulation.
you can run induction motors with IS-FOC
LVACIMTR is an example of…
Part Number: DRV8312-69M-KIT Tool/software: Code Composer Studio Hi everyone,
I'm using the DRV8312-69M Kit to implement different estimators for an ACIM (LVACIMTR). I've started from project 11 of instaspin labs and replaced every call to the instaspin…
the HVPMSMMTR (ESTUN) you have runs off 160Vdc nominally. You can run it on the DRV8301 EVM, just won't get full speed as I noted.
If you are looking for another motor to use with the DRV8301 EVM we offer the LVSERVOMTR and 2MTR-DYNO , which is 2…
Amr,
We have a low voltage ACI that we will begin selling soon. They are actually in stock and we are just finishing up compliance. PN will be LVACIMTR and should be shipping in July.
This also comes with an adapter plate to connect to 2MTR-DYNO
so you…

I doubt we have an evaluation kit that is anywhere…
With the 69M (and all MotorWare projects) we actually limit and scale currents at just over 40A for DRV8301 evm.
Both the BLDC and PMSM motors will run, just not to their full speed.
The package Milan linked is one of my favorites and uses two of the…
BLAC = Brush Less AC (Alternating Current)
This is a synchronous motor (not asynchronous induction) and the AC implies that the stator is wound to produce a sinusoidal (AC) Back EMF. This motor type is also known as a PMSM as the sinusoidal motors were…
Michael,
Our standard motor for this kit is the LVSERVOMTR. You can run this motor to 50V+ and it will pull over 7A.
You can also purchase two of these with coupling and frame mount as 2MTR-DYNO
We will soon offer a LVACIMTR that will also couple/mount…
